We have snow. And a chilling wind that makes it feel like -11C. The sort of day that you tuck your shirt into your knickers so there’s no gaps for the wind to whistle in.
The wind is whistling around the house and the sky is grey and leaden with more snow forecast today. On the plus side, I don’t have to commute to work or go out to buy food. A day to stay inside. Who knows, I may even turn on the heating.

Light your fire, and put on your vest!
We used to have Liberty bodices still in the fifties – whatever happened to those – they were quite cute with those old fashioned linen buttons – some even had rubber buttons.
I had one of those – that was in the 60s! I loved the rubber buttons too.
I had to look up Liberty bodices. I think I must have just been wrapped up in my vest.
I feel cold just looking at your photo.
Incredible Anne! I am loving all of the snow photos that are popping up from your part of the world. Stay warm.
That is so pretty, but I expect gone by now. I remember the bad winter of 1963 (I think). We were snowed in for 2 weeks, and all the hedges on the farm disappeared under snow, all the landmarks went. It was very strange!
Mostly gone now (thank goodness) though we still have quite a bit of the snowman left in the garden.
Talk of liberty bodices is warming me up!
Brian!
Lovely photo of the snow, Anne.
The snow looks so beautiful! A perfect day for baking and drinking tea 🙂
Hope you did turn on the heating! 😀
