Lino is definitely one of the most diverse printmaking methods I teach at Slamseys - block, reduction, repeat patterns, paper, fabric, so many options! Hand roguing wild oats in Little Forest field at Slamseys Farm. This wheat will be used as seed for next year’s crop so we pull out all the wild oats so their seeds won’t get spread around the farm along with the wheat. Printmaking classes in the barn have been fairly quiet in June so I've been making the most of it and getting down to some printing myself, dreaming up new classes and updating the website. Luckily there's lots scheduled over the summer to keep me busy including Summer School - a whole week of printing, homemade biscuits and getting to know six new students.
